Dan has a double specialization as an economist and engineer with an MBA graduate from Kellogg Business School - Northwestern University
Chicago with his thesis: "Industrial Solutions Investments - Analysis framework in European Markets" supervised by Prof.Dr.Dr.h.c.mult
Horst Albach
Dan is managing partner of AT Concepts and his expertise area is in the higher operational and strategic business development practice
focused on the Eastern Europe region.
His experience in corporate strategic development and consolidation qualify him in assisting customer’s management in identifying and
build up of strategic development concepts. Dan also consults in such areas as organizational structure and internal controls.
He brings a high degree of managing competence, based on more than ten years of experience with the business development and restructuring for
several multinational companies in Eastern Europe. Dan currently serves as the engagement partner for many of AT Concepts large and
high-profile customers in Romania.
Dan’s experience includes work in energy and utilities, electro-technical industry, industrial manufacturing, investments management and
government/public services.
He is one of the authors of the WWWH Model developed for eastern European companies based on his experience in the region.
Prior to this he was a Regional Manager for Central and Eastern Europe of The Moeller Group, which is based in Bonn, Germany, one of the
leading, globally active suppliers of systems and components concerned with power distribution and automation. There he managed the
process of restructuring and development of the group’s subsidiaries in his area. His tasks included planning, change management,
education and training, technical services, system integration, and implementation consulting.
Before joining AT Concepts he successfully completed, as a team member, the deal of selling one Business Unit of Moeller Group to
Siemens AG on worldwide level.
Prior to Moeller Group, Dan was Director of the RWE Group in Romania where he was responsible for groups companies implementation and
companies acquisition in Romania.
As one of the initiators of the Economical Engineering Faculty Program from the Technical University from Bucharest at the beginning of
the 90’s Dan did not forgot the importance of the educational factors in a business environment and therefore he devotes a portion of
his time to educational and non-profit aspects of consulting business in CEE area.
